Sunrise Middle School is an alternative charter school at 24th and Julian Streets, San Jose, California for students who are seeking a holistic, meaningful and stimulating alternative to mainstream education. We believe school should be a place where youth want to come each day, excited to learn about life and themselves, where they're allowed to question and challenge the world around them, and where they feel empowered and respected for who they are. We welcome all sixth through eighth grade youth. What matters is what we're doing now and the vision we hold for our future.
